Poly‐β‐hydroxybutyrate concentration, microbial enzymes activity, and nutritional value in biofloc system using different carbon sources and C/N ratios in common carp, <i>Cyprinus carpio</i> culture

This experiment was designed with three carbon sources (Dextrin, wheat bran, and corn starch), each two to nitrogen (C/N) ratios (19 30) for 4 weeks. The data obtained from variables (carbon sources, C/N ratio) were analyzed a two-way analysis of variance. At the end experiment, results indicated that use varying significantly changed nutritional value microbial flocs (p < 0.05). Also, showed both affected main groups saturated, mono-unsaturated, polyunsaturated fatty acids in Dextrin flowing starch at low ratio increased poly-β-hydroxybutyrate accumulation > enzyme profile all but did not affect enzymes treatments except higher amylase acidic protease activity 30 total bacteria Lactobacillus count by highest density observed bran respectively. These findings may encourage farmers consider specific based on culture conditions species requirements.
